COVID HOSPITAL:
The Covid Hospital is situated within the DHGMCH premises near the old hospital building complex and is fully functional for more than a year cateringto thousands of patients during the ongoing Pandemic.There are total 175 functional covid beds in the Covid hospital.There are 6 CCU & 9 HDU Covid beds available for critically ill COVID patients. 20 bedded COVID PICU will be functional very soon.
DHGMCH has its own fully functional Pressure Swing Adsorption(PSA) & Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) plant to combat any oxygen crisis.
Department of Microbiology is proud of running the state of the art RT-PCR laboratory which is functional for 24hours.Daily sample collection is done in the hospital premises and reports are delivered within 24 hours in keeping with the existing ICPMR protocol.

COVID VACCINATION:
DHGMCH has been a Covid Vaccine Centre (CVC) since the first day of roll out of Covid Vaccine in India. The CVC is run by the Department of Community Medicine and has been recognised as a Vaccine Cold Chain Point . The CVC offers both Covaxin and Covishield vaccines to the beneficiaries as per the GOI and State Govt, protocol and is functional on all working days except Sundays from 9am till 4pm.
The CVC is located on the 5th Floor of the DHGMCH Academic Building in the Department of Community Medicine.
